Current Projects: Johnson Creek (North MoPac) Trailhead and Stretching Area
The Johnson Creek (North MoPac) Trailhead—the most popular meeting place at the Trail --- is in need of a significant makeover. Thousands of people begin their visit here and it sets the tone for their Trail experience. The area currently lacks important amenities and needs additional landscaping to beautify this major gathering point. Major improvements being considered include restrooms, native plants to buffer the adjacent street, chilled water fountains, informal seating, and stretching areas with improved exercise bars.
The Austin firm of Bosse & Pharis has been engaged to design this enhancement.
